Baudelaire Socks - free pattern
Try something a little different with these lacy toe-up socks. A simple 8 row repeat leaf lace pattern paired with some cables, gusset increases, short rowed round heel, and genuine heel flap..by CookieA
Eisern Socks
This sock does NOT feature an alternative or unusual construction, as this was not explicitly given as the theme for the month, and I didn’t want to exclude anyone that may prefer to just knit a nice, regular sock. by General Hogbuffer

Owlie Socks - free pattern
This cuff-down sock features a cute Owl motif and is worked from charts.
Techniques used are cables, twisted stitches and beads.
The Pattern by Julie Elswick.. its available as a free download.
Cubist Socks
The lace sections of this sock make this a bit loose although the project page states that the pattern does not have much “give”. Easy and repetitive, the sock develops quickly and the 3 chart repeats on the leg make it a nice long sock!

Zigzagular Sock - Free Pattern
Great Pattern for the variegated yarn conundrum - that one where a gorgeous skein of yarn refuses to knit well in a pattern, but the thought of yet another totally stockinette sock is too monotonous to bear.
Quick Knit Socks - Free Pattern
This sock pattern was developed when I found myself with too many single or three-quarter balls of excellent self pattern sock yarn, and a list of people who needed socks for Christmas. It involves using 2 strands held together and changing one of the strands (if necessary) over the heel and toe.
Magic Mirror socks
When I started these socks, I wanted a sock pattern that was not symmetrical on each foot, but one that mirrored the other foot.
I ended up using this large zig-zag and filling the side spaces with different textures. My Magic Mirror socks were knit using magic loop and two at the same time. For clarity and ease, I'm writing the pattern for one sock at a time on magic loop. The pictured sock is the medium size and fits my 7.5-8 (US) sized feet.
Scrumptious Stripes Socks
Super fun socks knit with Stripe Me Up from Scrumptious Purl! A simple cuff-down design for multiple sizes, the Scrumptious Stripes Socks pattern provides a perfect canvas for showing off the precision of this carefully dyed yarn. Bold and bright in unexpected colour combinations, these are sure to make you smile every time you look down at your feet.
