A Quilting Life February Block


In February 2024, A Quilting Life's Block of the Month features an antique basket block at its center, offering quilters creative opportunities to experiment with color combinations. This beginner-friendly block requires constructing two flying geese units, two half-square triangles, and several squares. Instructions for the outer star points are provided in the January pattern. 

Participants can choose between 16" and 8" finished block sizes, with setting instructions for each size to be released in December 2024. The blocks are designed to showcase the Strawberry Lemonade fabric collection, which became available in early 2024. For background fabrics, the tone-on-tone options from Strawberry Lemonade are recommended, with Moda Bella 9900-200 suggested as an alternative.
